--First Singapore company to attain Deming Application Prize

| Sanden International (Singapore) Pte Ltd (SIS) was conferred the 2006 Deming
Application Prize on 10th October 2006. The Deming Application Prize is an annual award presented
by the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE) to outstanding companies that have
achieved distinctive performance improvements through the application of Total Quality Management
(TQM). |

| The award was presented to SIS on 7th November 2006. SIS is proud to announce this
achievement being the first company in Singapore to receive the world’s prestigious medal. |
