– New Brand Protection Program – Launching 01

As a global leader in the development, design and manufacture of vehicle air-conditioning
systems, SANDEN prides itself in delivering high quality and performance products to its valued
customers worldwide.
The popularity and demand for quality Genuine SANDEN (compressor) products, unfortunately,
have also subjected SANDEN to the threat of counterfeits and clones in the marketplace. These
counterfeits and clones do not offer the quality and performance of a Genuine SANDEN product, and
in certain instances may cause premature failure, compromise driver/passenger safety and harm to
the vehicle’s overall air conditioning system.
As part of our Sanden program to combat counterfeiters, Sanden is introducing its 2
nd generation brand program protection program from
Jan 2011. Each Genuine SANDEN compressor product is secured with the new
SANDEN Holospot
®
Security Label system which can be verified ‘on the spot’. You can also login to
our ‘Product Authentication’ web service at
http://www.sanden.com.sg:8082 to confirm the
authenticity of
Made in Singapore’s SD5 & SD7 compressors.
Note: Holospot
® is a registered trademark of tesa SE.

Look for the
SANDEN Holospot
® security feature.
Please check to ensure that:

1) The
Sanden Holospot
® Security Label is present on the Genuine SANDEN compressor product.
|
|
2)The
SANDEN
Holospot
® security device is present and
features:
(i) The ‘
SANDEN’ logo and
(ii) A 6-digit code (e.g. ‘
TDG349’).
The 6-digit code flashes with a brilliant iridescence (rainbow colour effect) when
viewed under a bright light source while tilting it ‘to and fro’ at an angle.

3) The
SANDEN
Holospot
® 6-digit code (e.g. ‘
TDG349’) is
unique and different on each product item. The 6-digit code matches the 2D barcode and
6-digit code (e.g. ‘
TDG349’) imprinted next to the
SANDEN
Holospot
®.
